TeaRounder App and personal data
You can use the TeaRounder App to set up rounds in any Tea Room, Cafe or Pub. However at a Participating Venue you can you progress the round further by ordering or paying* using the app.
The TeaRounder App is downloaded free of charge from https://TeaRounder.app website and installed on your mobile phone.
At any Tea Room, Cafe or Pub use TeaRounder on your mobile phone to set up the names of your friends and family together with their drinks, then store this in your mobile phone’s memory. This is so you can recall who drinks what when setting up another drinks round in the future. It’s so much better than using notepad. The names of friends and family are not passed to the Tea Room, Cafe or Pub and never leave your mobile phone.
If you visit a Participating Venue you may decide to use the TeaRounder App to do more than just recalling who drinks what. At a Participating Venue once you have set up a round, you can go ahead ordering a drinks round and even pay* for it. When placing an order though the TeaRounder App, the bill payers name, address*, table number* and phone* is passed to Participating Venue website. Only this data (and the ordered drinks) is accessible to the owner of the Tea Room, Cafe or Pub. Names of your friends and family are never passed to the Participating Venue website.
Our Marketing and Demo website address is: https://tearounder.thinkablecloud.co.uk. It treats personal data much as a Participating Venue website would.
(* optional as configured for the Participating Venue).
